There is a wonderful nature trail located at the park entrance. The short path ends at a big cenote (pure swimming pool) the place you can take a refreshing dip within the water. The principle entrance is positioned on the Tulum beach highway to the south of the Tulum hotel seaside zone. The area is known for its fly fishing, chicken watching and other eco-targeted actions. This protected reserve is inhabited by countless plant species, birds and animals. There are few companies in Sian Ka’an other than pre-booked guided tours and some random small restaurants so come prepared with water, snacks and many fuel in your tank. The Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve is a 780,000 acres nature reserve just south of Tulum in the Riviera Maya. In the Mayan language, Sian Ka’an means ‘where the sky is born’, אלוקל אלומיניום דמוי עץ or ‘gift from the sky’. You will notice an arch fabricated from native stone the place you must stop and פרגולות לחניה pay the entrance payment.
