Lizzo is proving to be a strong public figure for her fans amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But even she is feeling nostalgic for better times as many are isolating into self-quarantine.

She took to TikTok Sunday with a video of herself in a blue bikini, dancing with friends on a recent vacation.

The 31-year-old stood in a shallow ankle-deep pool with a party of people behind her dancing to a remix of MC Hammer’s U Can’t Touch This.

Toward the end of the short clip, the whole group’s movements sync up to a funky take on the Macarena.

She captioned the video: ‘POV ur at a pool party and one crazy b***h forces everyone into her TikTok.’

The lighthearted post comes after the Truth Hurts artist led a soothing 30-minute meditation on Instagram.

It started with her playing a relaxing melody on a flute while sitting at a table filled with crystals and burning incense.

After finishing the tune, she said: ‘I wanted to just give y’all something nice to come into…

It’s always nice to feel like you have a fight song.’

She added: ‘There is the disease, and then there is the fear of the disease. And I think that fear can spread so much hatred and fear can spread so much negative energy.

And fear can spread the disease, even quicker than the disease can.

‘I wanted to empower everyone and let you all know you have power. We all have power. You have power to eliminate fear. We have the power to reduce the fear that is being heightened.’

The video came after she had to cancel her performance at the Houston Rodeo over growing concerns about the pandemic.
